I studied Business Management at the University of Sheffield, but I knew I wanted a career in marketing. My first step was working as a digital marketing executive at a financial claims company. I enjoyed the work, but my career had stalled and I knew I needed a change. Then I found Cambridge XYZ, took the leap, and it turned out to be the best decision I’ve ever made.

This really is my dream job. I’ve learned more here than anywhere else, and I get to work on Google Ads for clients I never imagined I’d be working with. No two accounts are the same. One week I’m planning a large campaign build across several countries and languages, and the next I’m deep in conversion tracking, making sure every lead gets counted properly. I love that there’s always something new to figure out and always a way to make things perform a little better.

Hobbies
Anything that teaches me something new or gets me outdoors. On a typical weekend I’m practising a new language, cooking something I’ve never made before, or out on a long hike.

Fun facts
I moved from the UK to South Korea, so these days I work with the team from the other side of the world. I’m also a bit of a language collector. I already speak five languages, and now I’m taking on Chinese. If I’m anywhere near the sea, I’ll have a snorkel with me, and the best snorkelling I’ve ever done was on Jeju Island.

Best memory so far at Cambridge XYZ?
It’s hard to pick just one, but I’ll never forget joining a team of such amazing people. Everyone was so willing to share what they knew that I went from feeling like the new person to feeling like I belonged really quickly. That support is also how I ended up earning my Google Digital Champion badge in 2022. The team encouraged me to go for it and backed me the whole way, and it’s still one of my proudest moments.

Cambridge XYZ changed my career, and honestly my whole life, for the better. I absolutely love what I do, and at this point Google Ads is part of my DNA.
